The Virginia Port Authority plans to construct a new marine terminal on the 522-acre eastward expansion of the existing Craney Island Dredged Material Management Area (CIDMMA). The state-of-the-art Craney Island Marine Terminal (CIMT) is scheduled to open in 2020. Construction of the facility will require the resources and expertise of various contractors and suppliers, including firms who specialize in the following:
- Dredging
- Earthwork
- Heavy Marine
- Ground Improvement
- Port Construction
- Aggregate Suppliers (Rock & Sand
